UPWARD to Participate in Cabinet Office Event: "The Annual General Meeting of the Local Revitalization SDGs Public-Private Partnership Platform"

~ Contributing to disaster surveys with mobile CRM utilizing location information ~

UPWARD, whose mission is to "make mobile workers smarter," will be participating in the Cabinet Office-sponsored event "The Annual General Meeting of the Local Revitalization SDGs Public-Private Partnership Platform" held on September 2, 2020, and will introduce initiatives to support local governments.
UPWARD joined the Local Revitalization SDGs Public-Private Partnership Platform in July 2020 and is working on initiatives to further contribute to local revitalization by utilizing the public-private partnership platform. As part of our public-private partnership support for local governments, we have decided to present at the Annual General Meeting on the theme of "Building a disaster survey system and introducing an activity management system that utilizes location information."

・Support for disaster-stricken areas using the mobile CRM "UPWARD"

In the heavy rain disaster of July 2020, we partnered with System Forest Co., Ltd. and provided UPWARD licenses free of charge to Hitoyoshi City, Kuma Village, and Sagara Village in Kumamoto Prefecture.
In the Kumamoto earthquake that occurred in April 2016, we also supported field surveys and the issuance of disaster certificates using UPWARD and Salesforce (*) in Nishihara Village, Kumamoto Prefecture, which suffered enormous damage.

・What is the Local Revitalization SDGs Public-Private Partnership Platform?

The Cabinet Office has established the Local Revitalization SDGs Public-Private Partnership Platform as a place for public-private partnerships to deepen partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders, with the aim of promoting the implementation of SDGs in Japan and further contributing to local revitalization.

UPWARD provides free system support using location information to support disaster-stricken areas during disasters and is working on local revitalization. We also share case studies to support more local governments.
