Speaker at the FY2020 Public-Private Partnership Platform for Local Development SDGs Matching Event

～ Proposal for Efficient Efforts to Conduct Disaster Survey Work at Corona Disaster

The event was held at the Corona Disaster Mitigation Center, where we proposed a solution to efficiently conduct disaster survey work using location-based technology.

UPWARD PROVIDES SYSTEMS TO SUPPORT DISASTER-STRICKEN AREAS IN ORDER TO HELP CREATE LOCAL COMMUNITIES, AND SHARES CASE STUDIES AND PROPOSES SOLUTIONS TO SUPPORT MORE LOCAL GOVERNMENTS.

CASE STUDY: APPLICATION OF MOBILE CRM "UPWARD" IN DISASTER INVESTIGATION WORK

(https://www.systemforest.com/) and provided UPWARD licenses to Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture, Kuma Village, Kumamoto Prefecture, and Sagara Village, Kumamoto Prefecture, in response to the torrential rain in July 2020.
By using UPWARD, a mobile CRM that combines location information and CRM, we were able to speed up the issuance of disaster victim certificates, and the speed of certificate issuance greatly exceeded the level of the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake.

What is the Public-Private Partnership Platform for Local SDGs?

The Cabinet Office has established the Public-Private Partnership Platform for SDGs for Local Development as a forum for public-private partnerships to deepen partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders, with the aim of promoting domestic implementation of the SDGs and leading to further local development.
