UPWARD CSO ISHIDA APPOINTED AS NEW EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Masaki Ishida, CSO, Sales Division, will assume the position of Executive Officer.
Ishida's appointment as Executive Officer will further expand sales of UPWARD's next-generation sales DX tool to support customer success. As a leading sales DX company that utilizes location information and an intuitive UI, Ishida will aim to realize its mission and further enhance its corporate value.

The recent changes in the market due to the new Corona and changes in the way of working due to the trend toward remote work are further accelerating the trend toward DX in the sales field. Under such circumstances, the importance and necessity of the Sales Engagement we provide, the role of connecting the sales field and the system (CRM), is increasing daily, and we are receiving many inquiries and expectations. After graduating from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2009 with a degree in Economics, he joined an internet security company on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. In 2015, he joined salesforce.com, Inc. After working in inside sales, account executive, and sales manager, he became a branch office manager. He then worked at Slack Japan K.K., where he was in charge of the enterprise domain with a focus on the automotive and high-tech industries, before joining UPWARD in March 2021.
