UPWARD IS FEATURED IN "CASE STUDIES OF COOPERATIVE COLLABORATION BETWEEN FOREIGN AND JAPANESE COMPANIES" BY THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMY, TRADE AND INDUSTRY.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has published a list of "Examples of Cooperative Alliances between Foreign and Japanese Companies" on its website, which can be used as a reference when Japanese companies utilize overseas capital (joint investments with foreign companies, acceptance of minority investments from foreign companies, etc.) as an option for solving management issues and accelerating growth. UPWARD's case study was published on the website of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
The case study introduces UPWARD's collaboration with Salesforce, Inc. as a "pattern in which a Japanese company accepts a foreign company's investment in the company itself (investment ratio of 50% or less)".

Eleven cases of joint investments with foreign companies and acceptance of minority investments from foreign companies have been selected as examples of companies that have effectively utilized foreign capital to solve management issues and achieve corporate growth. In addition, in order to provide a practical collection of case studies, the report outlines the background, issues, history, and objectives of cooperative partnerships with foreign companies, the process of cooperation (integration), and results after investment, and summarizes efforts to resolve issues, key points of success, and innovations in cooperative partnerships.
