UPWARD, Inc. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Takehiro Kaneki; hereinafter "UPWARD") will hold a recruiting event, "UPWARD Enterprise AE (Former Head of Japanese SaaS Sales Department) x Offline Dialogue with Youngest Department Head!" on May 15, 2025 (Thursday).

Profile of Speakers

Hiroto Wakaizumi, GENERAL MANAGER, CORPORATE SALES DEPARTMENT, UPWARD CO.

After graduating from Kansai University, joined Daiwa Securities Co. Ltd. in 2018. Engaged in retail sales at the Tokushima branch. Joined UPWARD as a field sales representative in 2020. Soon after, experienced CS due to changes in the system caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. After that, promoted through all SMB to GB ranges as an AE, and promoted to General Manager of the Corporate Sales Department in July 2024. Experienced in business expansion of companies with approximately 40 to 100 employees.

Yoshitaka Shimada, Enterprise Sales Department, UPWARD, Inc.

Joined Innovation Venture Co., Ltd. in 2014 as a new graduate. Traveled throughout Japan as a route salesperson, achieving top sales for two consecutive years during approximately four years of employment. In 2018, joined Hacobu, Inc., a logistics startup. Was in charge of SMB to enterprise sales, and later experienced sales management. In 2021, joined Kami Nashi Co., Ltd. After working in SMB and MM sales, became the sales department manager in the same area. Primarily responsible for constructing sales strategies, developing new businesses, building onboarding and enablement frameworks, and high-performing manager duties. Joined UPWARD, Inc. in February 2025 as an Enterprise AE.
