Sun-Medix is a general medical equipment trading company that has been in business for 136 years. With sales offices throughout the Kanto region, in addition to providing medical equipment, Sun-Medix offers a wide range of services that support the operation of medical facilities, including support for the introduction of information systems for medical institutions and assistance in improving the efficiency of goods management. As part of its efforts to promote DX (Digital Transformation) in its sales activities, the Company has decided to officially introduce UPWARD.
The Company had been facing the issue that its sales representatives were not able to fully focus on sales activities because they were busy with delivery tasks. Although we had a policy to increase the weight of sales activities, it was difficult to provide accurate support because we could not visualize on-site activities. Against this backdrop, we introduced "UPWARD" as a mechanism to aggregate and visualize the status of activities and promote behavioral change.
The main deciding factor in our decision to introduce UPWARD was the overwhelmingly low data entry load compared to other SFA systems due to the stay detection function. We felt that the system was easy to establish input and could solve the above issues. Another important point was that the roadmap included the inclusion of AI functions such as image analysis, and we could expect future development potential.
Looking ahead to where the company will be in 10 or 20 years, we believe that the accumulation and utilization of sales data will lead to improved organizational strength and employee job satisfaction. As generational turnover continues, the transfer of know-how and sales information held by veteran employees is an issue, and we expect "UPWARD" to make a significant contribution to resolving this issue. In the future, we intend to make wider use of UPWARD, including visualization of human connections through business card scanning, voice input, and recording through images.
