Background of the event: The evolution of field sales required in the business DX era 

In the Japanese business landscape, the way visiting sales and field sales are conducted is about to change significantly.
While many companies are promoting business DX, they are also facing challenges such as 'Where should we start?', 'It doesn't penetrate the field,' and 'We can't see the results of efficiency improvements.'
In this seminar, NEC and UPWARD will team up to unravel the real issues arising in the field and their backgrounds, and explain 'What field sales should look like from now on.'

Since joining NEC, he has been involved in sales to customers in various industries such as telecommunications, manufacturing, nursing care, and real estate for over 10 years.
Since 2023, he has been in charge of product and service planning and development for small and medium-sized enterprises.
He is also involved in NEC's client zero initiatives, and is working to promote digital transformation for customers based on the experience he has cultivated within the company.

Masaki Ishida
UPWARD Executive Officer, Vice President

After graduating from UCLA in 2009, he joined Trend Micro. After being involved in marketing and sales for new businesses, he started his own business.
In 2015, he joined Salesforce.com Co., Ltd. (now Salesforce Japan). After working as an Inside Sales, Account Executive, and Sales Manager, he served as a branch manager.
After that, he was in charge of the enterprise area, focusing on the automobile and high-tech industries at Slack Japan Co., Ltd. Joined UPWARD in March 2021.
