(Japanese corporation: Salesforce Japan Co., Ltd. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & Chairman and CEO: Shinichi Koide)), Japan Venture Capital Co., Ltd. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Shuichi Okuhara), and Archetype Ventures (Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Jun Nakajima) as subscribers, raising a total of approximately 3 billion yen.
UPWARD is a cloud service for field sales that “makes sales activities easier.” It enables “easy activity management” via smartphones through advanced integration of CRM (Customer Relationship Management System) and maps/location information, and has been implemented in approximately 200 companies, primarily in the large manufacturing industry.
The location information utilization SaaS field is expected to expand rapidly in the future due to improvements in location positioning accuracy through smartphone sensor functions and quasi-zenith satellite systems.
Through this funding, UPWARD will develop functions that support input in the field using artificial intelligence, and aim for further market expansion.
