■ Background
"UPWARD" is a cloud service currently used by over 250 companies, primarily large enterprises. It is a cloud application service for field sales that seamlessly and automatically links customer relationship information with location information, supporting last-mile operations in the field, such as "visualization of customers and visit activities," "automatic creation of visit plans," and "easy input of visit records." With the appointment of the CTO, we will accelerate the provision of automation functions that make field sales smarter, such as "Field Sales Automation," which automates visit activity recording with check-in functions, and "Automatic Recommendations" for next actions using machine learning.
■ Junichi Abe Biography
For approximately 20 years, Mr. Abe has been responsible for the development of various location information services, including serving as the development manager for the major car navigation map service "MapFan." To date, he has launched numerous products and web services. He also has extensive experience in developing new businesses, including planning various services and formulating business strategies.
