Mr. Suzuki from Salesforce.com, Inc. explained that the company has a track record of being implemented in over 50 financial institutions in Japan, and regarding security, which is the most important theme for financial institutions, he explained the status of compliance with FISC security standards, the cumulative security investment of hundreds of millions of yen, an operating rate of 99.9% or higher, and the realization of zero information leakage incidents. Mr. Shibata from UPWARD, Inc. lectured on the dramatic improvement of productivity in field sales using "UPWARD." He explained that strict security is ensured in the linkage with UPWARD as a partner solution for the "Financial Ecosystem," and that solutions and security are compatible at a high level.

Mr. Suzuki from Salesforce to speak at "FIT Forum"

Following this, Mr. Shibata from our company introduced a method of creating a "winning pattern" that can systematically improve sales capabilities by visualizing the sales field and quantitatively collecting and utilizing real-time information from the field, as well as examples of companies that are strengthening their sales through activity management. He explained that the key point for speedily and reliably implementing activity management is to "prioritize sales activities based on accumulated data," and that by using "UPWARD," which can seamlessly link Salesforce and location information, it is possible to display customer information and visit activity status on a map in real-time, and to easily record information on-site using location information and voice, thereby reducing the burden on the sales field and dramatically improving productivity.

■ About "FIT Forum"

In the financial industry, efforts to improve operational efficiency, such as AI (artificial intelligence) and RPA (robotic process automation), are rapidly advancing. Automation is enabling new forms of business and personnel allocation that were previously considered difficult, such as rapid service provision that does not require choosing a time or place. At each seminar of the "FIT Forum," the latest initiatives for business innovation were introduced, focusing on keywords such as automation, telework, electronic contracts, new mobile networks, and sales efficiency, which are challenges faced by many financial institutions.
