To be a speaker at the "Nikkei Industry Forum" held in Osaka on February 25 (Tuesday) and Tokyo on March 3 (Tuesday).

At this forum held in Osaka and Tokyo, our President and CEO, Jo Kaneki, will be lecturing on "Digital Transformation Examples: How Does DX Change Sales Management?"

Traditionally, when companies introduced systems, the best solution was to build a unique system tailored to their operations. However, with the declining labor population and the enforcement of work style reform-related laws, the rapidly changing labor environment has complicated existing systems, making them difficult to operate. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry warns that in five years, we will face the critical "2025 Cliff" due to the aging of corporate IT infrastructure, the end of support, and the retirement of engineers responsible for security. Companies are now facing the challenge of "DX (Digital Transformation = System Innovation)."

On the other hand, work style reforms in the sales department require improved sales productivity. In order to achieve higher sales with limited personnel and working hours, sales activities utilizing digital technology are becoming essential. However, field sales (door-to-door sales) in particular are lagging behind in systematization, standardization, digitalization, and technological advancement. In many sales departments, unrepeatable, person-dependent sales activities continue.

In this lecture, UPWARD will introduce specific examples of "DX in the Sales Department" that greatly changes the way field sales and managers work by providing activity management services that seamlessly link CRM and location information for field sales, displaying various customer information and customer visit activities on a map in real time, and enabling easy activity recording on-site using location information and voice, dramatically improving the productivity of field sales.
